Rent a car in less than five minutes

To rent or book a vehicle nothing simpler:

  1. (A.) Connect to the Hertz self-serve online platform or (B.) contact the Hertz self-serve customer service.
  2. Select and book your vehicle
  3. Receive an SMS and a confirmation email with a badge number
  4. Retrieve your rental badge at the hotel counter by showing your SMS/email
  5. Get to your vehicle and start your rental
  6. Return the vehicle and give back your badge at the hotel counter at the end of the rental

BOOKING

  1. OPTION 1: via the online self-serve platform
    • Connect to the booking platform available at your hotel counter
    • Enter the dates and time of the required booking to verify the cars availabilities
    • Check the availability and price of the vehicles
    • Choose your vehicle
    • a. If this is a first self-serve booking: Create your account (get your driving license and your credit card):
      → Fill in your surname/first name/place and date of birth/full address/ driving license number/driving license issue date and place
      → Fill in your credit card details (except Maestro and Electron)
      b. If you already have an account: Connect to your account with your ID number and your password
    • Confirm your car booking
    • Receive by email and SMS your booking confirmation as well as your badge number
    • Introduce yourself to the hotel counter and show your booking confirmation with your badge number
    • Retrieve your badge from the counter agent (and the keys with the car guide for the Blue Summer)
    • Get to your vehicle to start your rental
    • Follow the instructions given with the badge to initiate your booking start and enjoy your rental
    • Park the vehicle, follow the end of booking instructions and give back the booking badge (and the keys with the car guide for the Blue Summer) to the hotel counter
    • Receive your invoice by email with your rental credit card payment receipt ( card will be debited at the end of the rental)

  2. OPTION N°2 : By telephone
    • Contact the Hertz self-serve customer service
    • Check the availability and prices of the vehicles according to the required dates and time
    • a. If this is your first self-serve booking: Get your driving license and your credit card for registration by the Hertz agent: surname/first name/date and place of birth/full address/driving license number/ driving license issue date and place/credit card details (except Maestro and Electron)
      b. If you already have an account: inform your Hertz agent and get your ID number and your password
    • Confirm your car booking
    • Receive by email and SMS your booking confirmation as well as your badge number
    • Introduce yourself to the hotel counter and show your booking confirmation with your badge number
    • Retrieve your badge from the counter agent (and the keys with the car guide for the Blue Summer)
    • Get to your vehicle to start your rental
    • Follow the instructions given with the badge to initiate your booking start and enjoy your rental
    • Park the vehicle, follow the end of booking instructions and give back the booking badge (and the keys for the Bluesummer) to the hotel counter
    • Receive your invoice by email with your rental credit card payment receipt ( card will be debited at the end of the rental)

BOOKING EXTENSION / CANCELLATION / CHANGE

  1. Extension
    • Via the platform by connecting to your account
    • Via telephone by calling the Hertz self-serve customer service
    In both cases verification of the vehicle availability will be done before validating the extension.

  2. Cancellation
    • Via the platform by connecting to your account if the delay between cancellation and the start of the rental is of at least 30 minutes.
    • By phone by calling Hertz self-serve customer service if the delay between cancellation and the start of the rental is of at least 30 minutes.
    Warning: : In case of cancellation with a delay inferior to 30 minutes, it must be validated via the Hertz self-serve customer service. Cancellation fees will be charged.

  3. Change
    By phone by calling the Hertz self-serve customer service.
    According to the delay, some fees can be charged.
